I always like to remember e-bikes that fall into one of three different categories.


There are devices for e-bikes that are designed so that one does the job and does it very well; There are e-bikes created for fun - these are your beach cruisers, minibikes and more designed for dining in your area or on the bike path. Then there are e-bikes that have a foothold in each of the worlds.
In my opinion, GoCycle fits very well into the first category. It is a device carefully designed to meet the specific needs of a commuter who lacks a place, probably lives nearby and needs an e-bike that he can take to the office, public transport or store in the smallest possible area. places. Of course, it's also fun. With a 500W motor and many built-in power components, it's faster and easier to handle than your typical folding e-bike. In my opinion, however, it really excels in quality because it is extremely light at a modest 38 pounds and has a very well designed quick folding mechanism.
But unlike the fall, there are many parts of this motorcycle that are fully owned and customized by GoCycle, or use consumables that have been modified to suit the needs of the fast component.
For example, a charge engine is a custom unit designed internally called the GoCycle G4 Drive. This unit produces 500W and is located inside the hub on the front wheel. It is surprisingly small in size, but despite its physical smallness, it packs in full force.
The wheels are made of one piece of spokes made of magnesium, which is also patented. It has a side front fork made of carbon fiber. The middle body of the wheel is made of aluminum, the rear body is made of carbon, which is new to the G4 model, and the rear part of the wheel called CleanDrive is made of magnesium. Like a fork, it's a side.
Inside the front of the frame is a 36V, 8.1Ah (291.6Wh) battery, which gives the wheels a solid range.
On the back of the motorcycle, this part of the swinging fork is what the GoCycle calls CleanDrive. Inside this tire is a motorcycle drive that has a three-speed Shimano Nexus rear hub built into the rear magnesium wheel and a MicroShift GripShifter on the steering wheel. The brakes are hydraulic discs, which in turn are patented. The wheels have been redesigned for the G4, inspired by MotoGp and again proprietary. And finally, there is a slight rear shock that gives the bike a 25mm ride.
One unique thing that a real bike lacks is the traditional LCD display. However, you get this LED-based system, which tells you indefinitely battery life and reads in real time how much energy the motor is consuming. Instead of building a display, GoCycle builds a nice application called GoCycle Connect. In addition to adjusting the settings, the application can also be used as a nice view if you decide to buy a steering wheel.
The application also allows you to choose one of three predefined pedal assistant settings - eco, town + and on-demand - and also allows you to make adjustments that best suit your driving style.
